While I would love for them to do Eat a Peach (which I believe they're doing at another festival), Live At Fillmore East is one of the greatest live albums of all time. You could probably argue that it is, in fact, the most iconic live album in the history of music. I've been racking my brain to think of other "live" albums as important or influential and I'm not coming up with much. Stop Making Sense and Frampton Comes Alive are the only other two I could think of that might rival Fillmore East's popularity.

Benny Goodman Live at Carnegie Hall c. 1938. That, and particularly Sing Sing Sing, is true jam band that shows the "jam band" is
nothing new.
I'd also add to the excellent lists:
Rock of Ages --the Band or Before the Flood (Dylan/Band)
Concert for Bangla Desh (George Harrison and "friends"--incl Russell, Clapton, Dylan, Voorman, Ravi Shankar, Preston, Ringo(?)
Mad Dogs and Englishmen--Joe Cocker
Jazz/Blues Fusion--Mayall
The Last Concert--Modern Jazz Quartet
And since Live at Fillmore East is a compilation, can we count Europe'72 (and add in the recently released Vol 2)?

It says they are playing at Fillmore East and more. I hope to the good lord they play Mountain Jam. Next to terrapin I feel its one of thee most beautiful and epic songs ever recorded.
there was a jazz version popular when I was in college, by Tim Weisberg (flute) and dan fogelberg (guitar) on an album called Twin Sons with Different Mothers. Maybe you can turn it up somewhere (likely in a crate of wax at a yard sale of someone in his late 50's!) since you like the song.
Hope they play some of it. L@FE is long, though, and there are other songs from the shows that could come in if they do more than just the original album. Or who knows what "more" is but it will be great no matter what!

won't happen if it's a 2 hour set and they play Live At Fillmore East as originally released. Well except those few bars in there
