Hog Farm Hangout 2020

It’s a String Cheese Festival w/ 3 stages, art, vendors, ON SITE CANNABIS DISPENSARY, a river for recreation & it’s in a great spot. There’s nothing like a Cheese Festival out West, Hornings Hideout is an all timer venue. I imagine the lineup will be like SCI to close each day w/ a Dead or Mid Tier Opener, and Bluegrass or side projects in the afternoon and or Late Night Sets. Something like this:
String Cheese Incident (3 nights, 7 sets)
1-2 Dead Acts (Billy & The Kids, JRAD, Golden Gate Wingmen, Oteil & Friends, Grateful Shred, Voodoo Dead or another Kimock Band)
A Bluegrass Act each day (Salmon, Billy Strings, Dusters, Keller)
Late Night Bands (Goose, Fruition, Midnight North, Honey Drops, Mother Hips)
1-2 Mid Teir Bands (Pigeons, Twiddle, Ghost Light, Nahko, Turkuaz)
All the SCI members’s side gigs: EOTO, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, Emmitt-Nershi Band, Praang, PANJEA, Keller’s WMD’s)
I think it’ll look something like that. Smaller but so fire you can’t miss it. I’m driving from Indiana to The Hog Farm, then driving my ass off to get to Lockn the next week, Coast to Coast. Anybody else thinking about going?
Old Head
This is so much FUN!!
If I could add one artist to the 2023 lineup: Neil Young
Number of LOCKNs attended: 7

And I haven't seen Cheese in a long time, would love to catch them somewhere soon. Unfortunately doesn't seem to be in the cards for next summer.

Yeah, I wish Cheese would play Hampton again. Those Halloween shows before they moved Hula to Florida were great. IDK if they could sell it out but it’d be close. Besides Asheville they don’t get too close to Lockn land unless it’s on the Farm. If you ever get a chance check out Hulaween. Suwannee is every bit Lockn’s equal venue wise. The weathers good, they got cabins, golf cart rentals, tons of RV spots and all the comfort you could ask for from a festival. And the lineup is always fire. 3 nights of Cheese, plenty of jambands, bluegrass & Dead. You can stay away from the DJ/EDM stuff real easy, it’s nothing like Electric Forest. Spirit Lake & The Bat Cave are awesome there.
