Yeah, I'm aware it's going to be a shit show but there is more than one contemporary act I want to see.

Nick is excited for Bonnaroo for that exact reason. He joined some pages to get a lay of the land and he said NO ONE is speculating about the music, setlists, times, etc. and that it is mostly people sharing picture of outfits. I am FINE with that, as the showfields should be empty as everyone parades their cool festy-fits!

That being said, I've decided to delay that until the fall and have one kick ass summer full of music and friends! While I'm sad that I can't make it to VA this year, we are however traveling to Bonnaroo and staying in ADA! Who else is going? I'd love to host a meet up! <3

This right here. Best vibes, gorgeous scenery, amazing tight knit group of people, family atmosphere, all things I was looking forward to. But as a destination festival, this wasn’t enough of a lineup for us to invest time and money to go to. I’m sad today you guys!

You KNOW I need Brandi after my canceled show. :/
Did you see her on the Grammy's? She is just sooooooooooooo... ugh. Love her, happy she's getting recognition, not pleased I have to share her with a larger audience.

I just entered a contest on Starr Hill's website to win VIP's to Lockn.
Wait--what I have done! Don't enter, everyone, it's a trap!!
Two years ago I won tickets to Lockn off a radio station in Roanoke, which I really needed. I sold one ticket for the cost of my camping pass, win/win.
Nick once won two day passes to the Ween 2017 St. Patrick's Day shows in Chicago. One day was sold out and very hard to find, so he entered obsessively daily. Then didn't check his e-mail telling him he won, and we paid fucking TM prices for the sold out show. Good thing I have a sense of humor.
To keep on topic, I'm hearing TAB is playing from a semi reliable source.

Hahaha... what did I give you?!! Or was it just hot whisky? LOL
And yes, you do have to take five. Or Ten. I'll hopefully be telling you all about this summer in person over another shot.

Warning: We have grown in size plus we now have drones and sharks with lasers.
You know I love to host!!! 💕

But I forgot what I walked down the aisle to! One of my best guy friends (with the voice of an angel) played an acoustic version of this haunting tune, handpicked by Nick. Makes me cry every time.

Crazy. Changed the station to Lithium and have been enjoying reliving my high school years.
Also.... <off topic>... but what I really want to know is when the seasonal Yacht Rock station is coming back! "Saaaaaaailingggg... takes me away to where I wanna doooo da doooooooooooo".

Nick and I picked Monkey Man by Toots and the Maytals for our "wedding march". One of my all time favorite party songs.
We FORGOT to put in a request for our first dance so they decided that "our" song would be "Don't Worry, Be Happy" which ended up being absolutely perfect, honestly. But we still chuckle about it from time to time.
My father (who impressed upon me my love for music) agonized over what should be our father daughter dance. The man has impeccable taste in music honestly, but for some reason he ended up picking a song I had never heard of. Maybe some of you have heard it (below)? It was sweet, but out of left field, and we had to plug in an aux cord into a speaker. Hilarious. My poor daddy. LOL!

Yes, indeed. It has helped me tremendously. It basically all comes down to poorly trained and compensated customer service employees in these types of situations. I wish companies understood if they provided more on the front end in training and wages, they'd pay less on the back end cleaning up their messes. So I'll twantrum on.
I have also reached out to the executive director of Accessible Festivals for some guidance since I'm up against the Big Bad Boogeymen. Worst comes to worst, I will file a grievance with the DOT and hopefully have some sort of mediation.
The real problem is this: How many of the lucky few who actually got an RV pass will be in ADA? It's silly! And what if I was wheelchair bound 24/7? Are you really telling me I have to sleep on the ground in ADA tent camping because GA RV passes sold out under a minute?

Yes, they are saying "sold out is sold out" but you're also talking to the person who late last year personally e-mailed back and forth with the CEO and director of marketing for TMobile and had $650+ worth of services credited to her account after I blogged and Tweeted about their craptacular service. I don't give up easily. I already have the e-mail addresses of several Front Gate Ticket's directors, and a saved drafts of the e-mail blast I'll be sending out. I'm just waiting on the ADA dept. last denial of reasonable accommodations. I understand the parent company is Ticketmaster and they don't give a rip about about me but I usually find the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
I'll be sure to report back with my defeat.

Me: "Yes, I have a disabled placard and accompanying note from my doctor. I know people who have been turned away at a festival before because it filled up with what they later found out from getting to know their neighbors that they were people who borrowed passes and didn’t truly need it".
Phish ADA: "No worries. Trust we will help no matter what. We got you."
I e-mailed them today asking how they were accommodating me and my RV under the ADA without an RV pass. If they push back and say they cannot help me without an RV pass, well... If you know me there will be issues and I will get into ADA with my RV.

Well, now that the rumors have proven to be true we are doing Watkins instead of any other fest. The lineups just aren't there for us this year. We aren't even doing SCAMP.
That would be amazing!!!

Oh, totally. Just like Phish coming back to NYC for NYE; everyone was saying they wouldn't dare. LOL!
All my friends blew their budgets on Dicks and Gorge tickets and Nick and I held out. Even if WG didn't happen we'd go to Lockn' but we just knew it was coming.
Still holding out hope for Halloween in Chicago.
