Opening act was Handmade Moments. They were....neat. Really artsy and kind of corny, reminded me of the Will Ferrell skits we're he and his wife were music teachers. But anyway they're making a living do their thing so more power to them.

Saw one of the best shows of my life one year ago today.
Attended the Brothers 50 at MSG with my son and a couple of great friends.
Leading up to the show, we were wondering who the special guests would be - there would have to be some for an event like this no?
In the end, there were not any, just Jaimoe and the boys tearing up for a few hours.
(and in hindsight I'm glad they did it that way, just play the music the best they could and they did)
The band was great, the crowd was great, what a night.
Took my son to his first ABB show when he was 13.
Started at the Beacon, then Wanee, Lockn, and book ended it 7 years later at MSG.
Travelling to see these shows and enjoying them with him is something I'll treasure forever - I hope he will too.
Was lucky enough to have a great three night run leading into the pandemic, Kingfish, Otis Taylor, and The Brothers.
Very grateful to have been able to be there, especially considering what so many have gone through in the past year.
Looking forward to when we can enjoy live music together again.

Have attended two of their own shows live, watched the teasers from webcasts, and Lockn' of course. For the life of me, I can't remember now how I've heard it pronounced in the past, other than me talking. I guess I should know this. Is there a right and wrong way, or more "whatever". It's a slow news day apparently.

Plus, the tie dye I wore is one that I can finally fit into again. I've had it over 30 years. It's what would now be called "vintage" as it's ancient (but so am I).

I want to say Buckwheat Zydeco was a major act there but not positive, and an excellent local band Switchblade might have been there. Not a Jam Band fest, but great music.
