Interesting. I couldn't disagree more. I loved him for his raw emotion and purity. This new album is a bunch of fluff and bullshit. Was disappointed he wasn't touring this year. I'm no longer disappointed. He's lost his way.
This is the awesome thing about music. I absolutely love the new album and think it's the best thing he's done post Raconteurs (and post-WS).White Stripes / Jack White is/are my favorite of all time. That being said, Boarding House Reach is not good. There are a couple good songs, but as a whole it has no real theme and doesn't sound anything like him.

Flamin Groovies were a great band. Thanks for posting, I don't think I have searched for their live videos in the past. This is a good one, and I'll go watch more. I used to buy their early albums in the cutout bins in the early 80s.

can't find the whole album but another favorite band that went downhill with fame--lost their soul with Jackie Blue. Would love to transport them from 40 years ago to Lockn

Bonnie Raitt and Lowell George in a radio studio--she's about 17 and soo cute! Lowell is kicking off having just left the mothers. Hammond didn't add much to the album IMO. Classic.

Norah Jones plays down by the river at a school benefit and some creepy old guy gets on stage....
OK the handheld video is rough but what a great way to capture a magical musical event; I thing he was a surprise. Imagine telling your friends the next day!

That was a Bridge school benefit, put on by Neil so no surprise he was there. Thanks for sharing but I think that's about the worst video I've tried to watch.
