Collaboration Speculation and Wishlist

Instead of continuously using space on other threads for collaboration discussions...thought it was time for formal thread to be opened for dreaming and speculation on what unique combinations we might see in August.
I love the lineup and bands we have at Lockn this year. Also really stoked for the lineup as a sum of its parts, and the potential for some AMAZING collaboration and sit-ins. Dave Frey said they are going to let Phish decide who/how they collaborate - that should be interesting! They've got a lot of toys in the people available and styles they can explore.
Phish, Casal, Schools, Derek, Susan, MMJ folks, Russo, Dreiwitz, Benevento, Tom Hamilton, Galactic, UMPH...lots of ingredients for some special stuff.
What do you see as the most exciting collaboration possibilities? What about informal and unannounced sit-ins? What is at the top of your wishlist for artist collaborations?

Phish doesnt like too many "special" sit ins. Ween makes sense but other than that dont hold your breath.

I agree we are going to get four sets of Phish music, but they'll definitely be welcoming some guests to the stage. Read an interview with Trey after last year's tour where he said they are cutting way back on covers in favor of their own original songs. I am betting the final release will include at least one major planned themed collaboration...that will include members of Phish in some capacity. Phil and Phriends! TreyRAD! GRAB!

Maybe a hint!!??!! Honestly, if adding Phil and formally scheduling that collaboration were the two biggest announcements that we are waiting on, I'd be down with that!

Bustle in your Hedgerow is sweet, when I saw them they had Brittany Howard from Alabama Shakes come out and sing Lemon Song (and one other tune) and she nailed it.

BUT Tom Petty, Hot Tuna, and Bustle eased the pain well into the late evening.
We will definitely get Benevento and Russo together for some stuff outside JRAD. It'd be downright unnatural if we didn't, right? I think and hope they will leave the JRAD sets as JRAD doing what JRAD does...and find other times for other options at the field.

I wasn't a fan of bustle. I need some singing with my tunes.
It's OK, I got my ass buffed during that set.

Was struggling between using Wolf or White Denim (had some trouble getting into those guys) as dinner break on Friday. That'd be the swing addition making it an easy decision!
