Our Camp

Curious how you get so much room between your rvs. Most room we ever got was awning to awning.

We have settled on 6 RVs/Campers in 6 20x50 spots. Any additional RVs/etc either get bumped to the out side or across or behind. The picture below shows 7 spots but just disregard the far right one with the dark blue camper and truck. Yes those are a camper and truck. The yellow and light blue are RVs, the orange is a camper and the fuschia and white are pop-up campers. The big red rectangle is our 20x30 tent, the square fuschia are 10x10 ez-ups, the square yellowish are 8x8 ez-ups and the square light orange is our 12x12 kitchen ez-up. It didn't work out exactly like this but we adapted.

Is that image really a plan you made for your setup? I'm terribly sorry I didn't make it by to see this if so...my crew was giving me grief for having too much food and beer, "OMG, you have veggies for the hamburgers?!".

Yes we make a plan. You don't want to roll up with 7 RVs and then try and figure shit out. You end up all just parked next to each other. That's cool and all but it can be so much better. We hear people walking by talking about how dumb it is to put that much effort into something that only lasts 4 days. It took us 3-4 hours to completely set up and about 3 hours to tear down. And we got to live in luxury for 4 days. You should definitely find us next year and see how you do this festivaling the right way.

Mimosa Dosa! Actually it's bitters going into the mimosas. The clear PLASTIC NOT GLASS fountains for Mimosas and Bloody Marys had rotating disco lights under them. To the left and in the previous picture you can see the one refrigerators we brought for Bloody fixings. Every morning Team Bloody Mimosa got up and laid out the bar. It was glorious.

Good shot of the Kitchen first day. It stayed relatively clean but just relatively. We did get busted for the 20# propane tank on Sat. The Lovingston Fire & Rescue came by and told us we had to shut it down. We told them we would put it away and they would not see it again. They said cool. Guys were really nice about it. They rode by later with 2 cops just in case we were not abiding by our agreement. We were. We served breakfast out of this kitchen every morning. Divided camp into roughly thirds and each team took a breakfast for Fri, Sat and/or Sun. Had to cook b'fast for a couple hours for about 40 one time and then you were done. We also pre cooked some pork shoulders, mac & cheese and grilled veg for quesadillas that we had all weekend. And of course Sun night was SAUSAGE FEST! You can see the Coffee Bar in the background.

I think we are already on that. But thanks. And no pictures with those plastic look alike champagne bottles.

Yea you gotta at least try to disguise that tank. I pulled one like that off of my RV but I tucked it under a table with a long hose and just threw a tapestry over it.
