groundscores and serendipitous moments

Nice! I wish I had had time to find some tube stock for repairing my brand new pop up. I ended up ordering parts from the manufacturer last night after investigating just doing it myself from tube stock. Difference in price was about $30, so I just ordered the parts. Should be back up and running soon!

You gotta be careful approaching abandoned tents...at Bonnaroo they have a team called Clean Vibes that stays after the festival to clean up all the shit that the people leave behind. Since so many people fly in they buy whole camps at Walmart and then just leave them behind. Well, a Clean Vibes dude went up to a standing tent and zipped it open to dismantle it, and there was a dead guy inside--no, not a person who likes the Grateful Dead but a REAL dead guy. True story sad to say...

I didn't groundscore anything I can think of but somebody got my fluorescent lantern I had placed on the pile that was once my ez up. It was a tripping hazard and I was trying to help out.

As for the serendipity, Sunday morning (I think) I was looking around camp for my water bottle. Finally spied it over next to Sneake's tent. He later informed me that he had groundscored my water bottle. Said he was pretty excited till he saw my stickers. Thanks bud!
