PBR, well, they play somewhere almost every weekend. They're turning into the house band for the Richmond music / bar scene.
(I preferred when that was the Good Guys, but that was WAY long ago... )
(I wonder if PBR has ever played at PBR?)

Don't mean to disagree, but as this forum's Richmond's Local Music Scene Expert (or RLMSE), PBR plays Richmond mabey once every few months. They are touring a lot east of the Mississippi.
Unfortunately, I'm gonna miss that Shack Up, but it's gonna be a great time.
I remember Good Guys and raise you Chrome Daddy Disco.

I also remember Indecision being around a lot, but I don't think they were from Richmond.
Fighting Gravity was, and they played a lot of shows and house parties around town before they got (nationally) famous. They played ska back then, like the Good Guys. AAE was more traditional reggae.

The last time I saw them was when they were promoted as an "after party" from another show (I think that was when we saw Marcus King in the rain at brown's island, but I may be mixing up events). Anyway, went to the Broadberry and they charged us full $20 a head to get in, and we saw ONE SONG and they were done! I mean, come on, the guy could have told us they were at encore and the show was almost done. Jerk.
Cary Street Cafe had a better scene that night, anyway, but damn what a waste.
