IDK man, Rolling Stone & the jamband’s website all have it, Relix’s site ran it. IDK if that many outlets including one owned by Shapiro would get it wrong. Maybe they are just there the 19th, and are hanging out Thursday for something else and they are a part of a set on Sunday. I’m not calling you liar, I’m just saying maybe things are more fluid than we thought or maybe Jill Lesh flexed some muscle & got some things changed. Lol. Thanks for doing all the digging you do though. It is appreciated.

Brother you ain’t gotta convince me. I believe you now, I believed you yesterday. I was just giving a possibility to keep the wolves from feasting too much. The fact you been so confident in the quality of line up has alleviated all my concerns. You’ve given plenty of hints & info. I’m cool. You don’t have to prove anything to me. I understand how this stuff works. I got buddies that work for Madison House & Deer Creek. I know nothings solid til it’s on stage. You can’t be responsible for when the schedule gets released. I’m sure when we see it, it’ll be gravy. Don’t sweat it.

I like that little nugget that Shapiro is/was still working on two more bands. Lets my mind wonder who it might be.

Right on man. TOO’s got my vote for Lock’n MVP. Dude’s never lied on here that I’ve seen. There’s guys on PT that always hammer Atty over his post & dates but the dude’s usually right. He may be a day late or a dollar short but he nails the outline. And TOO nailed the outline and along with all the other info we’ve all dug up, we’ve put together quite a bit together. I wouldn’t let a few people’s comments affect you. I’ve never met you & you’ve sold me and got me pumped for Lockn & to see the new friends I made here. I don’t wanna see this become Facebook, so everybody needs to chill, be thankful for the info we’ve got & be ready to praise, criticize & discuss the lineup when we do see it. I’m all for a little ribbing, teasing & giving people a hard time but let’s not get malicious or make people feel uncomfortable for trying to help, inform or speak their minds.

One thing too about the attendance numbers last year. I think Lockn & everything else punted last summer b/c they were scared of Woodstock 50. What bands it would command, what it’s crowd would look like, etc.. I think Lockn knew that a potential beast was looming the weekend before their dates. Now as that date neared & the diasater that was Woodstock 50 became apparent, I think Shapiro regretted punting & not trying his hardest to compete. Had Lockn gone all in and embraced the Woodstock theme last year & stole some of Lang’s non existent thunder & shine instead of backing away I bet they could have doubled their attendance numbers and had the best year ever. Woodstock 50 fucked up a lot shit. I wouldn’t judge the state or future of the festival based on last year.

In Too's defense, I heard the same lineup release date....from a band that's playing there. TOO is very much checked in to the Lockn scene. Its not his fault they are so....Lockn.

A prime example of what I described earlier about how sarcasm gets you in trouble in text format. People can’t read your face & hear the infection in your voice. There needs to be a sarcasm font that’s universally understood. I get in some trouble from this. Lol. And you gotta know the person. I may come off as a dick online, but I’m good people and I wouldn’t pick on you if I didn’t like you. If I didn’t like you, I wouldn’t even bother. I love all the people on here, I mean it. If anyone on here ever needs anything at a show I’m at, a ride, a water, a hug, a Friend or a good time, I got you boo.

My sister told me she wanted to get me a velvet Elvis when I bought the house 32 years ago. So I retaliated when my nephew was born 30 years ago by wrapping one in tissue paper in a Nordstorm box as a present before his baptism. When I gave it to her she replied, "You really shouldn't have." When she opened it she said the exact same words, but with a completley different tone.
It came back to me at my wedding (I kept him in the divorce). When said nephew graduated from Coast Guard Academy, it went back to them. It's been intimated that he shall return when my daughter graduates from high school this year. I have high hopes this exhange will continue long after my sister and I are gone.

Personally, I think they dodged a bullet by those guys dropping out unless the 3rd was Paul McCartney. Lol. By those guys staying away we got more “great” music. You could see The Who play the same set any night last summer but what we got at Lockn was special. Derek & Trey put on a show. Shaprio for all the flack he takes is a fan first, he gets it. He’s not Irving Azoff or some money hungry promoter. He puts on the best shows, anybody that’s been to the Cap or a Brooklyn Bowl anyplace knows that. Lockn is the 3rd best site I’ve ever been to. Hornings & Suwanne are the only places I liked better & not by much. In 5 more years the farm will be one of the premier places for music you can find. They’ve grown the property & improve it every year. To start from scratch at a horse track in rural Virginia, they’ve made great strides. Anybody remember the first few Bonnarroo’s? Lockn’s still better than that. Every year Lockn gets a surprise that causes chaos, micro burst, storms, cancellations and they always puke & rally for us fans & put together something to blow our ears back. God bless ‘em.
