Incredible weekend of music. Toughest fest I've done yet(my fault). The Locknforum crew I hung with all weekend are the people I want to sit next to every fest. I don't have many pics but here's Holly Bowling and baby after I shouted alot to get the pic.
P.S. grumbly-one should change their name Lofty-one after their weekend above the clouds and in front of the unwashed GA masses. I was graced with a few interactions them and cherish the moments. My hope is Lofty-one will someday come to GA and wake me up.

Incredible time, everything I expected and more. Wednesday arrival was clutch. It rained a lot but it kept the temperature comfortable, no music interrupting lightning or anything. The best sets of the weekend were Oysterhead, Turkuaz, and Umph. That Turkuaz Talking Heads show was everything I expected and more. Honorable mentions go to Dopapod and Andy Frasco. Best "first time seeing" band was CBDB on the small stage Thursday night. Cheese played a perfect Sunday festival closing set of mostly bluegrass/feel good tunes. They covered U.S. Blues with Warren Haynes which was awesome. Jrad were great minus playing half the songs Dark Star played the night before. Multiple bands playing the same Dead songs, I mean I've never seen that at a festival before. Still they played an incredible Mission in The Rain which I don't think I've seen since Furthur.
First day load in was kind of annoying but not nearly as much clusterfuckery as I expected. Other than that you would have never known about Covid, year of shutdowns, or anything. It felt like a giant family reunion with everything coming back to normal.
Even though it was a 5 day festival I wish I had 5 more days. Couldn't have asked for a better return to normal music than 5 days of my favorite festival. Hope to see some of you there next year!

Limited edition festival poster
As someone who went solo a reserved seat was really nice. My seats were nice and close, and I got to know my neighbors and danced my ass off with them every night. And from talking to my camp neighbors who were back on the lawn, they actually didnt realize the blind boys of alabama were actually blind old men. They thought it was just a catchy name for some boys because they couldnt see them.
VIP Club = Meh. I did go in there a few times everyday. The line at the VIP bar by peach stage was always much longer and slower than the GA lines. I only used it once. Mushroom stage VIP bar/area was better but the beer prices were worse in there than by peach ($10 for 12 ounce at mushroom vs $13.50 for 24 ounce at peach). And I did use the free sunscreen multiple times everyday, better than carrying it around
VIP Sets = I only saw Duane Betts. It was in a nice VIP only area near the parking though. And it had its own AC Bathroom, which I took advantage of several times.
VIP Peach Stage viewing area = My reserved seat was better than the VIP viewing at Peach stage. I never went in there.
VIP Mushroom Stage viewing area = Nice. I was in there for ghostlight and Andy Frasco, and it made an easy way to get through the crowd to the other VIP areas. Also back by the mushroom stage VIP bathrooms/bar there were some of lower tier artists hanging out. It must have been close to their village.
3 meal vouchers = $45 value. Basically $15 credit at any of the vendors where I used them
Complimentary sports drink/water = Nice. I used it everyday and saw the long line at the GA water refill station. Not sure how fast the GA water line was moving though.
Drink specials in VIP area = $1 off on certain beer/drink. Probably saved $3-4 total over the weekend because of the lines at the bar.
Private restrooms = An air conditioned/less trafficked place to sit is nice. They were all out of order by the last day though.
VIP laminate = Its a laminate card that says VIP, nothing special. Stuck it on the bulletin board next to my lockn wristbands though since the peach wristband was a plastic hospital looking thing.
Reusable water bottle = Its ok. I have tons of water bottles though, didnt really need another.
Limited edition festival poster = Not a nice print like the lockn posters. Not going to frame it or anything. Not sure what I'm going to do with it. It was basically the Peach with wings/fireworks logo from the top of their website.
The VIP experience at Peach is not as nice as the VIP experience at Lockn. Except for the seat reservation thing, Lockn doesnt have that.
grumbly-one when you read this next year, just see how good the reserved seats you can get are and if its close give it a strong consideration. The difference maker really is the AC toilets I guess. Unless the wife comes, then AC toilets are mandatory
And yes, I am 'at work' while writing this. And I'm bored so you guys get a detailed VIP rundown. Figured I better stick to the 'lofty-one' reputation.

Let me mull it over a few days, I'll put a picture of it on here. My wife said stick it in the cheapest michaels frame you can find and stick it in a low traffic place of the house
