My first thought was 'oh yea! that sounds awesome'It appears that a few of us arriving the Lockn area around 2pm who are car camping will be meeting up at the Food Lion in Lovingston to try and camp together. We shall build a glorious compound. Where by pure good vibes we will remain cool and dry. Some brainwashing might be required.
My second thought was 'oh right, newbn doesn't sleep'

If we have a camping pass with a number and barcode, we're good to just head on through to the gates, right? I don't have to go to will call to get some piece of paper?

I think those with a camping bundle have to check in at box office to get the camping pass--so far I have my concert ticket but not my 1&3 pass. The info says they are being very strict with the bundles to be sure only the buyer uses them each time. Yes, you are good to go. If we have a camping pass with a number and barcode, we're good to just head on through to the gates, right? I don't have to go to will call to get some piece of paper?
That seems like a potential hold-up, though probably manageable, all things considered.
We'll see.

Further correspondence with frontgate confirms that you get your camping pass IF YOU ORDERED A BUNDLE at the box office with a photo ID; event ticket was emailed.

At this point--beyond the point of no return--the only way to deal with the weather is not to look at any weather reports--current or predicted. You know what it is generally. What it does specifically is in God's hands. And nothing makes a person hotter than fretting about hot weather.

Ok friends, need some advice. I know that they will be searching cars at the gate to look for prohibited items, and my research in this highly esteemed forum has led me to believe they are mostly looking for glass. I have a pour over coffee making deal that is made of ceramic. Do you think that would be a no-go? If so, can you get anything back on the way out or is it all landfilled?

I predict that your coffee maker will be fine but there is always a chance. Bury it in the pile somewhere safe and hope for the best. I do not believe you would be able to get anything back, it will probably have already found a new home before the weekend is over. Ok friends, need some advice. they say they keep contraband at will call to collect on departure--not worth it when there's a horde; no problem this weekend. My guess is they will let you keep it if they see it with a "be careful" warning. Bottles and knives are the targets
