In another thread I mentioned hearing Wilco on the radio. someone said in disbelief:
Wilco on the radio? I'd like to live where you live. Do they also play Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Traffic, ABB, etc on the radio? If so I'm movin to your town haha. Every time I've turned on the radio in the past decade (aside from the public radio station) I've literally heard the same thing, pretty much 80's hair metal, 70's arena rock, sublime, new hard rock, and some 80's pop, Then there's of course the top 40 stations but I don't even touch those. Radio is dead :/
So I said:
All of the above. Seriously. New station owned in part by Bruce Hornsby (since he lives in the listening area). Unbelievable what it plays.
reminds me of the "underground" FM album station in the early 70's.
You are likely to hear any of the Lockn bands, including those you mentioned, and DBT, TTB, Taj, wilco, petty, from early 60's to new releases. They even play vinyl on the air.
Check it out: tideradio.com/homevb/
for example here's a list of 9 "rain" songs they played this morning on the 9@9:
1. Let It Rain – Eric Clapton (1970)
2. I Wish It Would Rain Down – Phil Collins (1989)
3. Rainy Night In Georgia – Brook Benton (1969)
4. Rain In The Summertime – Alarm (1987)
5. Rain King – Counting Crows (1993)
6. Fire And Rain – James Taylor (1970)
7. Another Song About The Rain – Cracker (1992)
8. I Can’t Stand The Rain – Ann Peebles (1973)
9. Mandolin Rain (live) – Bruce Hornsby (2006)
Also I hear it on a local PBS station's radio show called "out of the box" where for 2 hours every night + Saturday afternoon this
great DJ Paul Shugrue plays all new releases of rock, Americana and blues (including new releases of old stuff like the CSNY 1974 tour or the new ABB @ Fillmore). I might hear Drive By Truckers months before the album is in the stores. Played Trigger Hippy last night. It's where I hear Soja (also last night).
Stream it and weep:

home: whro.org/radio
I thought I'd repost this so others can find it and stream these two great stations or shows--no one has to move here!
Paul also has a great blues show Friday nights. Good jazz here, too (Sinnett in session) and I never miss the Big Band on The Saturday Night Fish Fry.
