Welcome to the Lockn' Forum - The home of the original Lockn' Music Festival family!
I hope they DON'T bring back any FleetwoodMac artists. I see this as Lockn't perennial nod to pop music to bring in the spouses of those who like other music--Sheryl Crow, Willie, Edie Brickel, Blues Traveler, Doobies. I could do without and of all the FMClassicRock albums think they could pick one that fits closer to the brand. It's mighty close to Hall&Oates. OK hologram Peter Green would be pretty cool but that's not for the "Rumours" fanbase. Other than that, the Chain Gang will be awesome. I hope the order is not correct; it needs to be mid-afternoon. Might collide with the M&G and that would test my loyalty. Please note: This forum is in no way officially associated with Lockn' Festival or its promoters.
**NOT REALLY OFFICIAL 2020 LINEUP THREAD**

DSO/Taz/MKB on Thursday is the best $30 you can spend. Always wanted to see Taz. The schedule I saw had DSO for 2 sets, I expect that to hold. Thursday will be a rager!
The Chain Gang, I'm excited for this, Rumours seems an odd choice but it will be fun. Goose is everywhere. Glad to see Bruce on The Farm and see Govt. Mule back. Brandi Carlisle I'll pay more attention to this time. The Phil Lesh Quintet! What can I say. If you are going to see Phil the Q is the best way to see him. They have very deep and creative setlists and do a lot of cool covers. Tempo will not be an issue with this band at all. I really like just about everything I see on paper, this is going to be a blast!
This is all spot on. The Chain Gang thing is very intriguing to me. I thought Stevie Nicks was gonna be there when TOO said “unbrokenchain” would be happy, cause of “never break the chain”. That was the best hint of the whole thread. I think this is gonna be another solid year. Thursday though, that was the surprise. It just puts it over the top for me.

Friday
1. The Q - Great - Everyone should check out their Warfield 2003 Run. Soundboards on Archive. Great quality. Too Lazy to Link.
2. Yola - kuriti this is one for you to show up. She does work with the Highwomen. Super soulful voice, I'm excited by this booking. link
3. Goose - F yea. Listen to their live recordings, bother me for some links if you want. It's great stuff and this band is gonna be huge.
4. Chain Gang - WTF is this. It's so weird and I'm excited to see what comes from it. Why not do an Allmans tribute with these guys? SO strange.
Saturday
1. The Q - Same thoughts
2. Oteil & Friends - Great last year, love the horns, there are going to be a lot of screaming leads. Nice.
3. Unannounced - TTB?
4. Cros - I'm interested to see who plays w/him
5. Mike Gordon Band - Another good booking, he's super funky. Will have to listen to some recent shows.
6. Black Pumas - another kuriti special. Band throws down and is coming up pretty fast. Great booking. Listen to Colors. link
7. Garcia Peoples - Guys! This is so exciting. New up and coming band that just throws down some great jams. Check this out. link
8. Grateful Shred - I've already expounded on them. Here's a good archive. link
Sunday:
1. PhilRad - Picked up their Cap Run. I'll let you know what I think, but how could I not love it.
2. Leon Bridges - kuriti is right, a bit more hip hop lately, but I think he'll know the audience and keep it soul and funk. This is a good idea. Where he's listed on the day is a bit high, IMO link
3. Hot Tuna - not the biggest fan, but hopefully we can see some more Jorma sit ins. I loved him with Moonalice a couple years back.
4. RRE Old & In the Way - Excited. Love that record.
5. Meute - WTF is this! Awesome, Shappy. link
6. War & Treaty - Get ready to go to some post-Church Church. Awesome energy. Another kuriti special. link
7. Midnight North - not as bad as people tell you
8. Grateful Gospel - I want grass, not gospel, but it's a fun Sunday.
Other notes -- Boombox, another weird thing. I'll have to check them out. Ghost note will be perfect late night in that forest. Thursday looks awesome, don't miss Taz.
Me and the Mrs. will officially be in attendance.

No way, 1). No Derek, so it’s a non starter. 2). It’s something you’d see at Wanee or Peach (Live Nation) cause those are Allman Brothers things. 3.) contractually that show went to Live Nation to promote, not RLM, not Shapiro & not Madison House. So if it’s more than a one off, live Nation will run it & put it at Peach or another of their venues. And 4). I don’t think Derek & Warren want to do it, they were the ones who wanted out in 2014. They probably only did this for Jaimoe. He doesn’t tour much & gets very few song writing royalties. He probably needs the money.

Mule with Leon Bridges doing some soul & blues would be fire. The Mule Halloween show at the Taft a few years ago w/ Jackie Greene when they did all Neil Young was really good too.
