Super VIP and VIP Camping & RV Camping Details

that's it, if this fest lasts another year, i'm going RV VIP

maybe those entrances marked are only for the vehicles...I am hoping there are people paths at the south end of vip...same here...people in garv area we are doing stuff with

RV's will have power hookups provided by the festival , so generators will not be a big issue unless the rig is big enough to be a 50 amp and not a 30, then people will use the 30 amp and the generator to add power . Given that we cannot go in and out with our RV's and there will be no onsite refueling generator use is going to be a minimum. GA RV is a separate lot

I think Svip is inside the track atleast thats how its been labeled on everything else

This is what we were thinking and it will definitely be an issue as the person with the parking pass is a friend of a friend and may not be arriving until a day or two into the fest.
Thing is, we do have a tent only parking pass so we are hoping that we can drop our stuff in VIP, then park where ever the tent only parking is located...
Don't think they can keep us out of VIP camping, just not park our car there. We have a good camping wagon if we need to haul our stuff from the parking area to the VIP camping...We may still have our tent only camping pass too...worse case we camp there.
Wish I could talk to an actual person (I've email my questions with no response, so far.)

Each VIP ticket bought seperately gets 1 parking pass snd one camping spot.
If all 4 people are travelling together and have 4 parking passes, You should each get your own camping spot. Makes for a nice roomy camp site for the group.
If you're travelling together in separate cars and want to camp together you need to enter togethet.

Looking for VIP RV pass . We have VIP tix and GA RV spot.

EARLY ARRIVAL for SVIPs and VIPS UPDATE: I have a friend on site at the farm who is volunteering. She has confirmed there is early arrival on Wednesday afternoon for SVIPs and VIPs only. They will put us in a holding field for the night and let us in on Thursday morning. Is it worth it to setup your tent twice? Only you can decide

In some ways it's simple math. We figure one setup/takedown won't take more than a half hour, especially as we won't be fully unloading and decorating. Compare that to the extra time we'd have to allow for just getting there (we traveled down from NY and are staying in Richmond), time spent waiting in line, and traffic on the way to the site. At least a half hour in all that. There will still be some wait/hassle, but since the email said we'd be camping past the tollbooth, we figure it'll be minimal.

Plus, we get to hang out with sgolon and more!
