It would work. Get the word to Trombone Shorty; his is a great jazz band (seen them? I have). St. Paul may fit in if the youngsters have done their homework--as many have. TTB and WSP have some good reeds going from older dudes.

Roomful of Blues would have been a good band, but St. Paul will fill the bill.

When I see Dave Mathews I always tune in to the right side of the stage; those old jazz guys there have their own pre-bebop thing going on.

I'd prefer Santana with WSP. I don't know Cliff's music but maybe he'll move away from pure Reggae? Lots of other sounds are related.

Also, last year, Winwood was not scheduled to play the whole WSP/W set, but during the storm/evacuation they decided to have him for the whole thing b/c it was shortened, so they could get Petty through and back to get his plane in Lynchburg. So maybe Cliff is not the whole set, either.
