car camping question..

One spot per car camping pass.  Good for up to four people.  If you want a double spot, you need two camping passes.

ok, i think thats what i meant, two passes, one car = double spot....

I'll be testing out the two camping passes one car plan this year too. We're going to spread out a bit. :-)

What are the dimensions of the 450sq ft car camping spaces?

I don't know. But, the velocity of an unladen, foraging european swallow is 19-25 mph.

I don't do apps--does it say anything about VIP car camping spots? I recall 15 x 30

Yes and at the end of the section from the website FAQ's, it states you can set up canopy NEXT to you car without buying another pass.  I guess the question is, if you could get that extra space without spending the $$, why do I see posts about folks buying a 2nd pass for that space?  


How big are the campsites?
205 sq ft. tent-camping / 205 sq ft forest camping
450 sq ft. car camping
1000 sq ft. for < 40 ft RV (20'x50')
1400 sq ft. for > 40 ft RV (20'x70')

Car Camping sites are approx 22'x20' feet. Tent Only sites are approx 17'x12', give or take a tree or two in Forest camping.

You are allowed to set up canopies next to your car/tent without purchasing another car camping pass as long as you remain within the allotted campsite.

This year's lots in VIP car camping were different dimensions than the year before. Plus they oversold so they had people in some of the aisles, which, previously, were great for adding some breathing room. After all, if you park your car on the edge of the line, and your neighbor does the same, you can't open the doors on that side.

Point is, it works out but you can't plan precisely how you will set up each time. Even ground slope affects that.
