if you put most of the beer into a cooler, covered in ice (and dry ice) i find it very hard to believe they're going to pull it all out to calculate the total number of beers. I imagine if you roll up with a cooler full plus an extra 5 cases they might say something. Otherwise I think they'll be looking for tanks and glass, both of which i support having a ban on.

i recommend bringing at least 4- 6 beers for trading. 1-2 per day. So far we have a suggestion of High noon each day to swap. Anybody else have a suggestion. As for Location I recommend the
These locations are centrally located.
1 - the entrance to car camping 1
2 - near the big OAK tree
3 - near first Aid station in GA RV parking.
Any other suggestions?

I would expect Virginia ABC to be on site. They will definitely be in the venue where there is service.

We have many great and award-winning breweries in PA, including Troegs, Victory, Sly Fox, Yards and Full Pint to name a few. The only ones I know of that can are Sly Fox and Old Forge in Danville. I thought about bringing some, but the only varieties they sell around here are the APA and the IPA, and we already had that covered.
Here in central PA (WE ARE!), we have three or four brew-pubs within driving distance, including Otto's, which is a block and a half from my house. That's not always a great thing, but it sure is nice to drink craft beer with relative impunity knowing you don't have to drive. They also bottle, so takeout is in effect. They're not really that incredible either, but certainly serviceable and affordable, particularly for us Pub Club members. We generally keep a sixtel in our kegerator at all times.
I'm conditioning a west coast style red that I made as we speak, too. The good news is it should be ready by Thursday, the bad news is it's in glass bottles. Never saw what the use of an aluminum growler was until now. I think maybe I'll mosey on down to the pub and grab one real quick so at least a few of you can have a sample.
The camping pass offer is certainly tempting, although I'm not willing to part with $50 worth of my beer...

I'll try to find some Terrapin or Red Brick in cans but alas I don't believe they are available.
Terrapin just came out with Recreation Ale in 12 pack cans. Tried you the other week, it was OK and got better sip after sip.
I fear I've become a bit of a bottle snob and just need to get the ol' taste buds better calibrated to cans. The plan is to bring 4 sixs of different craft beers, but which ones is still an unknown.
Camping in VIP, but I'll check the boards and see if I can locate you folks for a tasting over the weekend.

Bad news! The pub was all out of aluminum growlers, and they don't expect to have any for a couple weeks. You think a milk jug would work?
Bring cups! On Friday, if the milk jug works, I'll be giving out samples of my homebrew, which I call Redheaded Stepchild. Then on Sunday, I'll bring either the white grape hooch (Greybar Chardonnay) or the cranberry (All Bogged Down). I love craft beer. This is to encourage a dialogue about CANNED Craft Beers from Your Home Area.
I am local to the event so I was hoping to try something from somewhere else.
Perhaps an Exchange or trade would be possible for many of us to try different beers.
Thoughts or Offers?
I do have a car camping pass that i would trade for some CANNED craft beers.
Hey I need a second car camping, is that deal still kickin?

Getting ready to siphon the hooch for secondary fermentation. This is basically to clarify and get rid of all the spent yeast that falls to the bottom. They're both fizzing away cheerfully.

4hands doesnt can yet, i dont think. if you want schlafly in cans i would go the tap room or bottle works, they will be the best selection of their cans
I'll be bringing a bunch from schlafly in st. louis. Have some ipa, brown ale, schwarzbier, and summer lager. Gotta love good beer in cans
We are coming from st Louis too, git just some regular beer, but wanted to get some good canned beer too. Went to randalls but first see allot of cans. Friar tuck have a better selection? Wanted to bring some for hands and schfaly

sneake, if you (or anyone else) wanted to make some sometime, it's real simple and inexpensive. You don't have to do the siphoning or secondary fermentaion; I just do because I happen to have the equipment. The companies site seems to be down at the moment, but you can order through Amazon.that's a beautiful thing

Terrapin has Recreation Ale in 12-pack cans....Red Brick has no cans. Also, Red Hare Brewing is in Marietta and ONLY has cans. I'll try to find some Terrapin or Red Brick in cans but alas I don't believe they are available.

Love Catawba Valley!! Do they have the Coconut Porter in cans?? Love that stuff!!!I'm bringing up a couple cases of Catawba Valley from NC. Great Brew. Def up for trading a couple six packs. This is a GRATE idea.
