The Beatles listening/reading project All The Songs

Anna (Go to Him) - written by Arthur Alexander (pictured) and a favorite of John’s. Although the title includes “go to him”, both Lennon and Alexander sing “go with him” in their recordings 

Recorded in only 3 takes on February 11, 1963.

Arthur Alexander was the only artist covered by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones (You Better Move On), and Bob Dylan (Sally Sue Brown).  

new release Friday- new Barry Gibb album all duets and it is excellent 

New music Friday- 2 unreleased Bowie covers (this one is a cover of John Lennon)

Grateful Dead of the Day- 1/9/? - January 9th is one of the few calendar dates that the GD never played a show.

I dusted off my old NAS server last night and watched the MMJ show from Lockn. It was great!  YouTube has commercials that fuck up the concert vibe and I already am set up with Spotify for music, so won’t pay for YouTube premium. That brings me to my group question:

Which one of you nerds has a private server full of concerts who will let me quietly download them all?

Just PM me and I will make some kind of trophy for you. 

I have thousands of SHN or FLAC full shows that I’m really not sure why I still have....if this is something you think you would be interested in let me know. I have a couple of “notebook” hard drives and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of either DVD or CD storage discs. (Note - everything I have is audio only, no video)

random listen of the day

SNL's repeat band was Foo Fighters. They played "Times Like These"  which reminded me to watch "Glen Campbell Sings "Times Like These". Not the banger but more comforting to me.
