If I could add one artist to the 2023 lineup: Marcel Duchamp

Just watched. Were there pyrotechnics on the amp to make the initial sparks? If so, even lamer. I guess guitars aren't built (as poorly) like they used to be.
I hated the first song performance. Hated the mix & the look, just everything about it. The whole show sucked so bad that when the second performance arrived I was ecstatic. Love the song choice "I Know The End". One of my favorites from Punisher. Felt much better about the audio. Just thankful the show was almost over then came the guitar abuse thing. Whatcha think, Newbn? She’s getting a ton of flack today, that’s for sure 
It was just abuse to me because it looked like a weak attempt at the iconic "guitar smash" imagery we all love. Pete, Jimi, Kurt and many others wish she had watched them to understand how it's done. Apparently the monitor was fake, so who knows. I think it's just hilarious that people are out there talking about how much waste there is in destroying an $85 guitar.Just watched. I don't care about the waste factor, but a fake monitor with pyrotechnics is the equivalent of lip syncing to me. And at $85, I go the other direction, practice smashing several of them to discover it is too heavy to swing. Hell, if you are putting in pyrotechnics, put some relief cuts in the guitar so it will break. If you are doing 'a show', then practice. If it is spontaneous and genuine, then it looking less than perfect is forgivable, so this one is silly because it hit neither of those. But yeah, it doesn't really matter.Apparently the monitor was fake, so who knows. 2) kuriti I agree with you wholeheartedly, I think she was feeling it with the catharsis of that particular song, but the whole planned thing puts me off. Tho, I'm sure Jimi and Pete planned their guitar breaking shenanigans...at least what Jimi did at Monterey looked really planned.
