A Hard Day’s Night - Lennon-McCartney
First track on their 3rd LP. This is the first album that all tracks were written by Lennon-McCartney, nary even a Harrison written track.
Also released as a #1 single in UK and US
Includes George Martin on piano and sound engineer Norman Smith on bongos.

I Should Have Known Better - Lennon-McCartney
This song is playing in background on the Hard Day’s Night film when actress Pattie Boyd meets George Harrison...her future husband.
Recorded on February 25-26, 1964 in 22 takes. It took so many takes because the lads kept goofing off and laughing. George Martin and team had to piece the song together

George on lead vocals. Song was written just for George to sing (only one on the album, Ringo got zippy). George would start to write for himself soon.

I'd like to have these guys at Lockn'. We always have some New Orleans in some form or another. I saw them a couple of years ago and they are still good. And probably cheap!
