Deja Vu's 50th anniversary edition. Great new (unreleased) versions and songs that didn't make the cut. It's not just another 50th remake. You'll remember getting your dad to drive you to K-mart to buy it when it first came out, or ordered from Record Club of America--with the fake leather cover.

Here is a great review of it from Lefsetz, who writes a lot of interesting stuff about music--I get his emails and commend most of them. Some not.

That Mad Dogs and Englishmen done at Lockn' was one of the best musical events I have ever seen, before or since.

Sad that so many people even a few years younger than me don't know the original opus, or its back story, other than a couple of songs that make the corporate classic rock rotation. Thank you TTB for keeping that music alive. Susan was a great Joe Cocker not because she copied him but because she captured him.
