OK so we al know that when rock'n'roll and rockabilly took over in the late fifties/early sixties, it displaced the blues, so that music moved to Europe, both in recorded form and the artists themselves aaaaaa9like the London sessions).

Clapton, Winwood, Burdon, Mayall, Lee, Butterfield and countless others latched on (the Beatles went more to R&R/rockabilly initially).

Among the influences were the Three Kings, but none as much as Freddie. Maybe it was that Texas side.

Listen to this whole album. You will think it's a session by the Brits named above. You know many of the songs from their invasive albums. But this is the teacher...
