So, Pennsylvania approved a comprehensive Medical Marijuana program over the last week.
This means that over 50% of the US population now lives in a state with legal medical marijuana.
I saw, but I cannot confirm on other sources, that this makes PA the first state with a comprehensive medical marijuana program approved by the legislature not through a ballot. That somehow doesn't seem right to me, but I'll keep looking.
PA expands the geographical footprint and is a relatively conservative state, so this is a significant win.
Just thought you might like to know.
