June 23rd in Manassas, VA....
First that's my birthday (haven't figured out if that's a good or bad thing)
Second, Manassas is @3 hours from the Lockn location. 2 months prior to Lockn...does this basically rule out Dead & Co as a possibility for Lockn (I believe it does)

I don't think it necessarily rules it out. I don't think they will be at Lockn, though. Well, some of them probably will be, but not altogether in that format...
Figuring we will try for tickets for Jiffy Lube. Likely won't travel anywhere, though.

FWIW, they have lowered the prices, at least for the cheapest tickets. $40 at Jiffy Lube, and comparable at other venues.

I'm thinking with Lockn' potentially off the table for us, Worf and I may need to find our way to one of these. The question is, which one? Pittsburgh, NYC, or Jiffy Lube? Any way we slice it, it's at least a three hour drive and a night in a hotel (thank you work travel and Marriott reward points!).

We will be in Denver from 6/28 - 7/3. Got tickets to see Ben Harper at Red Rocks on the 28th and will probably go to see DeadCo on the 2nd. Unless we opt for Lockn in which case we will probably skip Boulder.

Looks like we are doing Boulder. Hope for more than five shows out here, but if ticket sales practices and last year are indicators we're gonna get fucked again. The Grateful Dead was a west coast band, D&C apparently not so much

I might be in for Charlotte. It seems unlikely that they will end their summer tour in mid-July and then play at Lockn six weeks later. Unless of course they start the West coast leg around this time but it seems more likely to me that Ratdog plays Lockn.

My wife bought the early high dollar tickets for Cincinnati and Indianopolis area shows. We are scratching Bonnaroo to do these two shows.

Lockn is still very much a maybe for us. It will depend greatly upon lineup news. While I can pull it off, work will be living hell both before and after if I do. Just not sure if it's worth it.Lockn
