Yeah, that pretty much describes it. If it’s anything like the last few times Phish has played here, Shakedown will be in Lot F. That’s the lot across the street and up a little hill. We normally park there because that’s the direction we come from, so it’s the first one we come to, and makes it a little easier getting out.

I expect lots to open at 4, because that’s what time they opened for DMB last week. They used to open earlier; in the past I’ve gotten there as early as 1 or 2, but in 2014 (when it switched from Verizon Wireless Amphitheater to PNC Pavilion), they started with the later lot times.

Is anyone bringing a flagpole & flag? That's usually a good way to identify lot meet-ups. At the Greensboro show in November we were parked next to a group who were actually Lockn’ friends and they had a flag with a GD logo/South Carolina palmetto.

There are parking lots available by the venue and these are included in your ticket price. You can also get Premier Parking for $25 and Limo/RV Parking for $50

I know, based on experience, that the parking part is true. At least it was the last time that I was there.

Likewise some venues have "security" who are really bad about busting people in the parking lots or at the gate; others are live and let live. Local on-duty cops, uniform or plain clothes, can be the worse. I think it has to do with whether the particular officer is mad at the world that day; it's the only way to explain the inconsistencies.

You'd think it was still the '70s at some venues, when it was the 50 year old crew-cuts against the 20 year old hippies.

Just an FYI, that website is not the official venue website, it's run by a 3rd party ticket reseller.
