This is my 4th year, but I have never made it before Friday. First 2 years, had to work, and last year, well.
We shall see if this is the year for a Thursday.

Me and my crew's 4th year. Did car camping in year 1 and got stuck in the netherlands. Grew up to big boys and have done GA RV the past two years (Year 2 on RV Ridge, Year 3 down past the little house where RV camping and Family camping is this year. Finally grew up even more and we will be in VIP RV this year. We were the ones with the SC Jerry Hand flag handing out stickers last year. Look forward to seeing everyone again.

I think the only one of yall that I have met is lobster We were parked next to each other at Lockn 2. We drove and parked in car camping but our crew brought the RV later that day, so I think we moved and gave you double the space. Hope to run into more friendly faces this year.

This makes me sad. But! It just means that we need to road trip and see you guys at some small fest up PA way. So that's a good thing. But I'm still sad.
And it really is the best decision. You aren't feeling it and timing wise it really doesn't work out well. Of course, that means someone else is going to have to post up in the back for me to randomly come by, flop in to not my chair and tell tall tales with no apparent connection to reality. Probably spill some beer sometime during the weekend. Hope you can live with that.

Press here. Mostly a lurker and sometime poster. Been to all the Lockns so far, camped the first two,
stayed nearby in off the grid cabin last year. Psyched for My Morning Jacket,
Keller, Galactic, Wailers, Chris Robinson and JRAD -- hope I can stay up that
long. Not a huge Phish or Phil fan. Any newcomers reading this,
you are gonna love beautiful Nelson County. Let's hope we don't get typical August In Virginia terrarium humidity, but then again, mo hotta mo betta.

I wouldn't have it any other way. PA has a gazillion fun small fests all summer long, and we can hit about five of them for what it costs us to do one Lockn. We do hope you'll be able to join us at one in the future. We're going to hit this one while you guys are dancing to the Phishes:This makes me sad. But! But I completely understand & admire you for doing what is right for you. I'm with McCjeff for loading up for a meetup trip. Maybe next year we'll meet at a festival. I wont be pulling the trigger a fast next year. LOVE you both!!

Well, this stinks! However, considering all factors involved, I don't blame you. It just makes me sad. Sure hope our paths cross again some day. Coming back for my 4th and as an added bonus, the switched dates moved the fest to my birthday weekend. I'll be seeing Phil and Phish on my b day for the 1st time ever
