If true, maybe ticket sells are good this year..

Yeah I was wondering about that. GA RV tkts have been "sold out" for months now. They must have done an of-fish-ial count on the actual # of RV tkts they had sold, or they added more power ditribution boxes in the filed.
If you look at the photo of the Bambi Airstream in the e-mail, it's got a huge dent in her right forepeak. OUCH! It was cropped out in the photo on the web page. I hope it's not a "dent" in tkt sales!

IDK about you guys, but I am going thru my stuff & getting ready. We bought an outside, stand-up shower "thing-a-mah-jiggy" from WallyWorld, and 2 Coleman sun heated hot H2O bags. Just packed those up, and started to make some block ice for the coolers. We lost power for about 6 hours last year, so I am thinking it would be wise of me to pack my Yama ha ha ha 3kw genset. It's so quiet. Love that thing. As we are a month earlier this year, I am thinking it's probably gonna be a little hotter this year than last. Anything above 75 @ night, and I just find that too hot to sleep in.

Are ya'll making your lists up or what? Starting to get excited here, and hope you guys & gals are too. We're gonna have a damn good time folks, even tho we don't have GovMu & WSMFP!

We never put anything away from our trip to Alpine, so everything camp related is in a pile in the garage.

Tent aired out and repaired last week.

Husband fashioned a new tent pole to affix upon the shelter this past Monday eve.

Next week I will map our route and start making lists (and checking them twice).

Week before I will be shopping and packing up essentials (alcohol, non-perishable food items).

Clothes and sundries I will do last minute since it is easy to do (just bringing dresses and workout clothes).

We've rented a small SUV so I'm hoping everything fits!

If you have four people it comes to $42.25 per person for four days of camping or about $11 per person per day. Seems like a bargain to me. Sorry, it's the eternal optimist in me coming out again...

So if that includes admission (?), that would be $120 for the weekend--arrive Friday, pay $40, go around the block Saturday and return, pay $40, rinse and repeat!

This is also a good solution for day trippers who don't want to drive home after a night show, and could just "camp" in their cars.
