They did say that for early entry GA RV that you would be parked in the High Field so it should not have been a great surprise that you were kind of far away.

Also a few minutes ago when I looked there was no line at all. The VIP car camping lot next to me is half empty. Apparently they must have been training dogs yesterday because they were not there today, or so I have been told.

Drove our 5 GA RVs straight in. Absolutely zero line. Drove right up to the wristband/security checkpoint thing. Guy came on board, opened one cabinet which was empty and told us to have fun. We did.
