Completely missed this thread so I'm doing the ole' copy and paste thing. We're in too.

Fixin to pull the trigger on Festy pre-sale tickets I noticed the property had changed names again; first Lockn Farm, then Nelson County Preserve, and now Infinity Downs Farm.

I think we should start a 'name the farm' contest.

BTW - pre-sale tickets come with free Thurday entry. Yes, free Thurday entry. Camping options, hay bales etc... on sale at a later date.

This is why I said "early February." I'm not one to pass up a bargain! But I really need a month where my credit card statement doesn't have any festival tickets on it. Got hit with the double whammy of moe.down and Dark Star Jubilee this month...

Thats an easy reply. City water and sewer. Next question.

Seriously though, I guess more honey dippers. Maybe this is not a problem at Festy. Dont know. Even then, the port o potties were so clean, dont know i would even use the rv toilet. There isnt much more they can realistically do. The most critical element is there, power. Maybe more water tower locations?

I told him that I didn't even need water or sewer but please don't take away the power. Rather not have to haul a generator and fuel. Also level sites with a closer proximity to the music would be nice. Oh and if I have a choice between a clean port o potty and my rv toilet, rv toilet wins every time hands down

The email is interesting. So these guys that put on Festy have no ties to ShapFrey? I would think they would consult with them unless they are gathering ideas to present to them. And you would think Lockn would be trolling for ideas vs Festy doing the leg work. Either way, a simple link to this forum would give them more than enough ideas from the people most invested.

I think they just pay Frey for use of the venue. They were doing it for six years before moving to Blue Nelson Downs, after all. We talked to a couple of the regulars, and they seemed even more like family than most fests.

My recommendation is MOAR HAY BALES!!

I'm with @theotherone on this one. I can do be fine without water...but I am in process of buying a camper strictly because of electric. I guess in October it doesn't make that much difference...but I'd rather plug in if I can.

We received the same email. Our response was very similar. While fresh water fills and pumping services would be nice, they're not essential. Power is.

I can fill my fresh water tank, but the pump doesn't work without juice. I'd rather not have to try and sleep through a 100+ generators running all night. Plus fuel handling for such a thing creates its own issues.

Just curious - did anyone have any trouble buying tickets through Eventbright? Worked fine last year. I was rejected first because my name wasn't right, it was. Then for my email not being right, it was. Then for my home address. Couldn't find a number for Eventbright's help desk so I called the event organizer. The gentleman helping me tried to purchase tics on Eventbright's site but he couldn't either. I had to use the email helpline to eventually get it sorted out. Still don't know what the issue was.

So I went to evenbrite to buy tickets for the Festy April Revivalists gig at BRB, and it said if you had Lockn tickets you could send your order number off to a Festy email address and get a code for half off the ticket price. So I did, and never heard back, which, given Festy, did not really surprise me.

anyone else have better luck?
