After we had our second child, my wife insisted that we get a used volvo wagon, "for safety". One night I had to go to CVS to pick up my stomach acid medication and my wife asked me to pick up some lady products. Heretofore I had refused to do this and she gave me a choice, either get what she needed or stay at home with the kids while she went.
At the counter, having driven there in a volvo wagon and having two items to purchase, I said to the uncomfortable teenager behind the counter, "I just need you to witness this, then end of my youth."
