Don't know, never tried that. I know in the past that sneake and worf encouraged using a 3rd party host for pictures and link to them here.

This board is still hosted by ProBoards. In fact the link lockn.proboards.com still works as it always did. The link locknforum.com just redirects to the proboards link. 

I was looking today at storage and we have used 153mb out of 200 mb free storage for attachments. So basically we have used 75% of our storage in five years. I don't know yet what it costs to buy more storage. We have four options...use 3rd party hosting, buy more storage, turn off option to allow attachments, or delete some attachments if we reach our limit. I prefer the 3rd party hosting option...

PS & BTW: yeah, it's still hosted on PB, but by going independent, we actually get less, not more, storage. Before, it was offset by advertising. Now, it's whatever we can afford.

You could dump all the old count-down threads.

Or do photos not take up much space? If it's the music videos, dump the ones that don't pertain.

I don't know how you would make this work, but assuming that a reply that copies the previous post's attachment doubles the space taken, discourage this practice or start deleting/ask people to delete going forward; I don't see a practical way to go back for these, though.

I paid for and own the domain www.locknforum.com. Think I paid less than $20 for 2 years. I also pay $6/month to keep the site ad free. Sneake paid proboards to allow us to use our own domain name. Think he paid $30 or $40 for a year. The funds that I pay , and my time, are my contributions to this community. No need to do any fund raising. Not sure what it would cost to upgrade the storage for attachments but it is not anything that we need to address for quite some time. As worf said if we can use 3rd party hosting for images that will help. I will find the tutorial and post it soon. 

If this board becomes a financial burden then I will reach out for assistance. In the mean time let's enjoy what we have. It is certainly something special to me, as are all of you...

Edit: I have pinned the thread about posting pics to the top of each board for now. I will check tomorrow and see if it is up to date...
