Dave Frey For Lockn’ 2018 all RV camping sizes will be 1,000 sq ft per. One of the functions of the Virginia Department Of Health is to approve Temporary Campground Size Waivers which among other things specify campground sizes. Upon learning that other events in Virginia were approved for smaller RV sizes Lockn’ was granted similar accommodations. This will be helpful in the future because a smaller less expensive RV option will be possible, in the meantime the required VDH sizes (smaller) are posted. As in the past this may not always be 50x20 because of terrain or location, some are 40x25. Again, for Lockn’ 2018 all RV camping sizes will be 1,000 sq ft per. The website reflects VDH requirement going forward. Clear bags are a new requirement if we want our insurance company to cover us, unfortunately there've been too many people (at other shows) who have not been good actors with the backpacks, and Lockn' security has found some pretty bad stuff in backpacks in the past also, weapons and the like.
