OK. We're coming along. Two guitars, percussion and banjo can make a good sound. Does anyone sing? I got a spontaneous jam going last year. I started playing guitar and the guy in the next tent got his started playing along and some guy just passing by started to sing with us. We did I Know You Rider, Bertha and Big Boss Man. Was a lot of fun and the neighbors seemed to dig it we got a lot of compliments.

I can do Rider and Bertha. I'll try to learn BBM.

How about Lovelight? that's just E and A. I can also do Run for the Rose, Stagger Lee, The Wheel and a bunch of others. There's only about five r six chord shapes on a 'jo, due to open tuning, so I understand if there's chords/keys folks have difficulty with. Oh, and I strum rather than three-finger pick or clawhammer, so that's why I'm always down on my ability. Make a joyful noise, I guess...

Sure, those are all good. Give me something to do. I am picker too. As far as keys go I'm ok with major, minor and blues scale.

I sent ADA an email just to be sure, but I'd be surprised if they didn't, at least accompanied. If I have to go to my friends' to jam/hang out, it kinda defeats the purpose.

Upright or guitar? Never mind, both are incredibly cool.

I wanna get an upright, cuz I'm a terrible musician, but I'm sure I have enough talent after playing for over a decade to learn some bluegrass runs (they're mostly blues progressions anyway), and one can get the bass player slot in lots of bluegrass bands around here just by virtue of owning the (very pricey) bass.
