If I could add one artist to the 2023 lineup: Neighbor

We’ll be up in the Northeast in July. We have tix for Jerry Jam in New Hampshire on July 19-21 followed by Peach the next weekend. The Levitate Festival lineup looks great and it’s on July 12-14. What do think my chances are of convincing Bob to do 3 festivals in a row? 
Some nice festies up there in the Northeast this summer...

SLIM.......SOMEWHERE IN HERE......NONEWe’ll be up in the Northeast in July. We have tix for Jerry Jam in New Hampshire on July 19-21 followed by Peach the next weekend. Nonsense. Just do your homework and find nearby golf courses and book some tee times for him. He can golf all day and join you for the headliners. I doubt the Clapton add.
But it's a great line-up--looks a lot like Lockn has in the past.
This is not one of the two Woodstock 50th shows and the one at the Bethel Woods Art Center, which is smaller and spread out. This one is HUGE.
And for that reason, sucking some of the air out of Lockn's room.

Just got back from the fest -
Initial thoughts:
1. Doubt we will be back. I have a similar feeling to peach about these fests in amphitheaters.
2. Organization level - makes Lockn look like Bonnaroo. This was a shitshow of communication. We got into the campground and there was no one to guide us - there were cars stuck everywhere
3. Worst weather we’ve ever had at a festival - we lost 2 ez ups to wind - double staked down but with the wet ground we had no chance. The flying ez ups ripped the tent and we were able to stay semi dry but it was a loss.
4. Just a strange atmosphere. Warren didn’t sit in with anyone - acts kept referring to need to keep it clean, people weren’t allowed to have there shirts off when under the roof? Freakin weird.
Oh well - i imagine we will be back at Roo next year if the lineup is worth it. Don’t think i could convince the wife to do anything in May and Lockn is a no go with those dates.

You should join us for some of the tinier fests. PA is loaded with them, and while you don't get the "sick lineup" of a giant fest, I find them to be a LOT more fun. Not to mention a lot less expensive!Just got back from the fest -

Yeah I think we're going to start moving this route moving forward. We definitely have to do one bigger fest because my wife isn't so into the music as I am so she needs some familiar music to her, but I think I can drag her out of the house for at least 1 or 2 smaller ones.You should join us for some of the tinier fests. Our rule of thumb this year has been nothing that is too big to be BYOB. And we're really enjoying it. And you may be surprised at your wife's enjoyment level. Smaller fests means more cover bands. So the music isn't unfamiliar....just new interpretations of what you know and love.Yeah I think we're going to start moving this route moving forward. That's a good call. I know we are lucky to be close here (In MD, PA, and VA) to be close to a lot of these. I've been looking at Grateful Getdown in a couple weeks (though it might come up too quickly for us after Mtn Jam). Our rule of thumb this year has been nothing that is too big to be BYOB. And we're really enjoying it. And you may be surprised at your wife's enjoyment level. Smaller fests means more cover bands.
