a Meet and Greet sounds good to me. I've had good intentions of going to the M&G's at Wanee fest but never manage to make it. So I'm all for it. It would be nice to say hello in person.

Given the challenges many of us faced getting in the gate last year, I think having a get together before the music starts is a bit ambitious. I'm just hoping to get in in time for the first day's music this year.

I would think Friday or Saturday is best. Like Suebhunny said Thursday everyone is getting in & setting up. Sunday people are getting worn & want to get rest to make to the Allman Brothers show. How I love getting older. Doing a brunch on the other two days & like I posted earlier in the ADA area that some people from the board is going to be in would work the best & Worfrat said he would be up for that.

Other people seem to be pretty enamored with the tree, though. I could make it there if I had to - I did that and more last year. There's always the carts, too.

I sure wish they'd open the gates at noon the day before, so we could all get set up and everything before a single note is played. Then we'd have that night to get together, get to know each other, share beers and jam.

I was at the Wanee M&G last year. I'm the older guy in the back of the picture. The one with the grey hair ;-). The M&G was awesome. Great stuff. I am the evil guy who brought the Jalapeno Vodka!
