I know this is a bit belated, but I'm finally getting back around to some non-work stuff since my Lockn trip. First, Thank you to Donna and Lizard for hosting the meet and greet. That was a fun time, and the sharing beers from around the country was a cool idea. Second, I sincerely enjoyed meeting all of you. There was great conversation, a lot of similar interests and sense of overall goodwill. Add in some craft beer, and you really can't beat that on a hot summer afternoon before the skies opened up. I hope we can all keep doing it for many years into the future. Looseankles has it correct, I am #38. Thanks again, -R.

I hate that Frank & I arrived too late for the group pic. I was sort of off-sync the first 2 days because of the weather. But at least I made it into one of the "candids"- that's me in the lavender v-neck t-shirt and big hat with flowers on it. I was the one handing out TAB-themed Uno cards, but again, I wasn't really feeling super social, and didn't hand out as many as I intended to. In fact that was the case all weekend, and I ended up with a bunch left on Sunday night which I quickly ran around giving to the people staffing the Sweet Earth Pizza truck (thanks for all the free pizza, that definitely helped fill the snack gap in between meals at the food vendors) and the Head Count volunteers.

We had such a great time at Lockn', and hopefully it will not be 3 years until we go back again. And I know I talked to someone at the M &G about trying to keep active here in the off-season. I live in Asheville, so maybe I can try to organize a get-together around Christmas Jam time? I am assuming there's a pretty good-sized group of people on this forum who go to that.

It was very nice to meet you and that was me you talked to about keeping things active in the off-season. We have done Christmas Jam a few times and hope to make it back this year. Any way best thing to do is to stay tuned here on a fairly regular basis to see what's going on. We are here every day...
