Poll: Car Camping, Tent Only, Other?

I read somewhere on something from Interlocken that they encourage bikes, and will have bike racks near the gates (of the music). I'm flying, wish I could bring mine, bad enough I have to fly all my camping gear. Getting excited!

Tent only. I was concerned about hauling all my crap from the car. After doing peach fest and hauling all my crap up a mountain I am convinced it can't possibly be as bad as that. Peach was the first fest in a long time I didn't have some sort of camping hook up to be closer to the stage. Too bad they aren't doing boardie camping (or are they?) like they do at vibes. 

yea. I have this dolly thing that is made to drag coolers around on the beach. It worked fantastically for peach fest. Even with the rocks and hills we were able to carry (our ridiculous amount of) stuff in one trip. Plus I have a few guys with me who will make excellent pack mules

So, I am hoping to get there really early so we can spread out in tent only. I have several friends that can't come until after work on Thursday and my plan is to have them give me their tents so I can set them up to save them spots. Do you think I am going to get hassled about that? I cant imagine that there are many bad spots in tent only. It's all really close, I just want all of us to be able to camp together.

I don't know. that would be ridiculous. But they might harass me if I am trying to set up like 8 tents with 3 passes... They really should have done per car not per tent for tent only if they were trying to encourage car pooling like they said. In my experience recently with the passes they just get you into an area then you are on your own. At peach I forgot to buy a parking pass and no one ever asked me for one. Plus your tent passes are more than likely going to be in your car, its not like they are going to make you attach something to your tent. People could just take it. 1st year festivals are always kind of unorganized. so really who knows.

I'm a regular VIP camper, with friends in SuperVIP with an RV spot. Depending on how things go, I could end up in either or both places!

gives you a chance to people watch. my girl and i were about as far away from centeroo last year as we could possibly, back on the other side of the small pond.  it was probably a 45 minute walk, but we avoided the dust and all the fest vehicle traffic, so it has it's ups and it's downs.

If Tent only fills up then the tent only overflow will be directed to field west of car camp 1

The main reason I went with Preferred Tent Only was so that I can slip into town if need be.

I thought I read somewhere that this wouldn't be possible with Car/Tent camping.

I've been concerned with the distance of having to carry my stuff from the car to the camping area, but from the map it doesn't look to awful bad.
