This is our 5th festival and we FINALLY bought a camper this year!! Have always tent camped, but am SO looking forward to the AC!!!!! Last year I thought I was going to die. We were driven out of the tent so early every morning by the heat and even with an easy up over it, could not nap during the day because it was just too hot inside. I'm not too old for festivals, but I'm too old for that shit!
We do a lot of other camping/traveling and hope to retire in a couple years so it was a good investment. Anyways...we'll be in Momma Bear camping, early arrival on Wednesday. We have a black SUV with New York plates and a Grand Design Imagine trailer. We are currently shopping for flags, so don't know yet. Would like something that represents New York on it!
Out of curiosity...does anyone know (approximately) how many RVs do early entry? Is it 100, a few hundred, more? Just wondering what it's going to be like. We are driving part way the night before and don't plan to get there too much before the tolls open at 4pm. I can't see a reason to just sit on the side of the road for hours. But maybe I"m missing something?

something like this, with a 1996 Coachmen Class B RV on a Chevy Van, tree/stream/night sky tapestries on the easy up, small MD flag, red/white/blue LED lights (for the Dead, or the USA, or both), legal VA-grown hemp smoke cloud perhaps if sold by one of the vendors as in Floydfest. Location was to be early entry baby bear RV, hope I did good enough on the street team now to elevate to the street team location (which I think I know, but not sure enough to assert here). I got some really cool placements of posters for the street team, and a few more to go.

I'd guess that there were less than 75 RVs in line at 4 pm when gates opened last year with less than a third of those being VIP. I have no data to say how many came in during the four hour window but I don't think you need to worry if you are not there much before 4.This is our 5th festival and we FINALLY bought a camper this year!! These guys do a great job on custom flags but I would order very **soon** to get it before LOCKN.
