2020 countdown!

I was first attracted to Lockn' because it was a Dead-centric festival. I would like to see that continue until the guys hang it up. As the song says, "Soon you will not hear his voice".

That will happen soon enough. Then the banner will pass to the JRAD's and DSO's of the world and Lockn' will morph with the times.

As kuriti stated, in the short term, the same bands every year is worrisome. I love the Dead-related bands and most of the usual suspects (so yay for me!), but you have to keep it fresh, IMNSHO. Delicate balance of keeping your base and attracting new people.

But familiar names sell tickets and that's a reality.
