Have none of you people heard of the "wook flu" before? 


When a wook has been on festival tour, not showering, sleeping on the ground and acting as a garbage can for drugs and sexual partners, a virus cesspool begins to fester on them, particularly in the dread region of their body. Over the festival season, the viruses on them all grow and combine to develop into a super virus called the wook flu. When a normal concert goer comes into contact with it, they will become deathly ill around 3-4 days after the show. Typically, symptoms include the worst sore throat, aches and headache one has ever felt, which causes the infected person to be bed ridden for up to a week. The only cure is soup, Netflix and the strongest over the counter flu meds one can procure, but a trip to the doctor or emergency room to get antibiotics is not out of the question and is in fact quite common. Unfortunately, a wook flu cure has not been discovered yet, so please plan accordingly if you start feeling ill and have a more experienced concert goer on hand near by to help with your treatment shall you succumb to this terrible virus.

Well, I don't think I have the wook flu, but I did pick up a nasty cough toward the end that I haven't been able to shake.

I'm digging the gravelly whiskey voice it gave me, though.

I wish the chair police would become flag and cardboard sign police. I got so sick of those stupid flags that Saturday I told each of the wavers they weren't cool and would be better off on the side near the toilets. They came back Sunday but one was much more subdued and appeared mainly during applause, which is tolerable. The short wolf flag was the worst. I mean, WTF?

During the Friday night T&T before the rain, the lights hit some bubbles that were in the shape of the Big Dipper and I was like, yay! The stars are coming out! and then I saw the Big Dipper drifting across the sky and shape shifting and I was like whoa and I don't even do chemicals. And the rain looked awesome too in the lights but we weren't even getting wet like we had an invisible shield from the positive energy.

Bubbles are fine. small thin totems are fine, even with subtle lights are fine. But remember L3 when that asshat waved that big SC flag all day every day in front of the soundboard camera? Not fine. WTF would anyone think that was OK? Or cool? May as well be blowing a coach's whistle all during the show.

I give St. Steven Seagal totems a pass, love those guys...

Well at least you have not implemented the Square Bubble Protocol...

The Stevens were funny and OK b/c they weren't constantly blocking views during headliners.

During one of the few downtimes on the stage the Jumbotrons were showing a series of public service announcement slides. One of them was "Respect The Beaver" and it struck me so funny that everytime it came up I started shouting "respect the beaver!" Before long half the show field was joining in. Cracked my shit up.
