Wanee has always been an Allman Bros thing. It's their festival etc. I would not be surprised to see the Southern Rock icons bring it to an end down home. Gregg, Warren and TTB do not have any posted events happening next April. It would be fitting.

For some reason, I remember when Warren and Derek made their announcement, one of them did an interview that seemed to throw cold water on the idea of one-off reunion shows after this year. I can't remember the specific interview or I'd post it here.
That being said, I could see Wanee continuing strong with a lot of the family bands there, especially if WSP steps in and takes a big role.

I keep telling people that Clapton's retired from the road, but no one listens...

The hour-and-45-minute show started with the band playing its landmark 1972 double album “Eat a Peach” in its entirely, starting its 10-song sequence with "Ain't Wastin' Time No More." And from the start, guitarist Derek Trucks played great slide – from sympathetic to screaming – and Greg Allman hollered out the vocals.
Trucks and Allman dueled at the start of “Les Brers in A Minor,” and the guitarist showed how good he is at playing in the context of the song – in this case, intricate but not screaming. The 10-minute jam also offered a nice solo by the Allmans’ other guitarist, Warren Haynes.
Haynes also played a good solo on the album’s best-known song, “Melissa,” the first notes of which got a cheer from the huge crowd of something around 25,000. The band also was sympathetic, but it was Allman’s vocals that made the song.
The Peach Festival seems to bring out the best in the 66-year-old, and his singing was powerful – despite being too low in the mix. Allman was even better on “One Way Out” and “Trouble No More” – the best songs of the night –singing angry and forceful, spitting an growling as the band blazed and barreled. “One Way Out” was a runaway train, with Trucks’ slide blazing.
Of course, the centerpiece was “Mountain Jam,” a 29-minute suite that built into a dual-guitar attack, the drums of Butch Trucks and Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson a rolling thunder behind them. At one point, Derek Trucks and Haynes were playing in unison instead of dueling.
The main set concluded “Stand Back” (which got a big cheer) and a nine-minute version (nearly twice the album length) of “Blue Sky” that captured the Allman Brothers’ classic Southern Rock sound – especially with Haynes’ sweeter vocals.
The encore was “Little Martha,” then the added bonus of Little Milton’s “That’s What Love Will Make You Do” – stretched to 10 minutes with Allman organ flourishes and dueling guitars while Haynes again provided great vocals. (He’s an underrated vocalist).
And the concert closed with “Black Hearted Woman” with Allman again singing and Haynes adding a scat that sounded like the whine of the guitar. The song clocked in at 11 minutes, a full seven minutes of which was a jam that featured Trucks wailing on a solo.
