I don't think The Who or Van Morrison would have had much of a positive impact to me.

At a million dollars or more each, you have to sell a whole lot more tickets to make up the difference. 5,000 x $200 = $1million.

I have it on good authority that Thursday will be a smaller thing this year, and it sounds like it will be Dead related. Main event is Fri-Sun this year

Imagining this is like Hulaween/Wanee when they have/had those Thursday "Pre Parties". Honestly, Lockn's Thursday was essentially that anyway, with music not starting until the evening. I like this type of thing when it gives smaller acts more time to play. If we're going Dead-centric low cost thursday, give me Grateful Shred and Melvin & JGB and I'll be happy.
