I was on an remote island yesterday, alone, did fine with all the dangerous stuff but stepped down on a chunk of wood and twisted the hell out of my ankle. Couldn't help but think how close that was to TOO's downfall.

I see what ya did there.

Sorry to hear of your mishap, smosey. Keep a close eye on that ankle. I thought my grassy dirt clod stumble on the way to Friday morning music resulted in a sprained ankle; however, about a month later I discovered there were actually two cracked bones causing the discomfort. 

Too, you are absolutely correct. Even so, I thought I was placing my feet carefully on Aug. 23rd.

Today marks three weeks since my surgery, just  five short weeks before I walk again. Very pleased with my progress. My incision is healing nicely, won't even be able to see it before long. I am getting more range of motion in my ankle every day. Gonna keep doing just what I'm doing and hopefully my total recovery is closer to three months than to four months.

Actually going to get out of the house this weekend and see some friends. Life is good! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
