I think Steve tried that once and it didn't work very well.

Plus there is the talking vs listening thing. People are getting into the jam and some asshole wants to talk about penguins...

I almost hate to reveal that we just got back from our third festival of the summer. And we have to miss the staff party for one that is postponed because we'll be at DSO with sneake. Strangest of places, etc, etc. What I'm trying to say is 2020 is only a bust if we let it be.

I'm really happy they decided to keep the October dates for 2021, rather than going back to summer. I think the weather will be beautiful.

We actually never bought our tickets for 2020, so if I want to see JRAD play, I'll have to pay up for the webcast, but that's okay. Maybe do one night, if that's an option. We're not huge couch tour folks. Even the various free ones that have been offered up throughout this whole Covid era, we have barely partaken in any of them.

And completely unrelated to Lockn', but speaking of JRAD, 3 years ago today I was at Red Rocks for their show! I can't wait to go back to Red Rocks again someday.

Plus, with this situation not being over yet, and already hearing rumors that still there might not even be normal concerts in 2021, they are probably better off sticking their flag later in the year, just to give this a few extra months to work itself out. Let's say that in the spring, there is still a public health concern, that would put June 2021 events in the "iffy" column, but the chances are better that by the fall more things will be allowed to happen as scheduled. They probably learned their lesson that it's better to kick the can as far down the road as possible.
