mmm sort of. A 360 degree view means that you can see all the way around in all directions without any interferences.If you were standing with your back against a wall you would have at best a 180 degree view.

I didn't realize until now they made a .357 carbine and expected just to find the revolvers. But it's practical and back in the cowboy days the rifle and pistol bullets matched so you only needed to carry one type.  The .357 is relatively new, but common.  I have a Marlin 32-20 lever action, from about 1890 (heirloom) and my friend has a revolver that vintage also 32-20.  But I wouldn't think the 357 bullet would be very effective for a rifle, especially for long shots.

I had a helluva time getting one of those through security at an airport one time. They were convinced that it was a weapon, or at least it could be used as one. I guess it could.
