In order to keep the riff raff and Obats of the world from spamming us we screen each membership request before approval. I personally run their IP address through a spam site to see if they have been registered as a spammer. If even one report of spamming is listed their request is summarily denied and their IP address banned. There is also an area for you to add a personal message as to why you want to join our group. The following is an example of how NOT to use that personal request.
