Well I waited until the last minute and bought tix. This even though I know I would get zero for buying early. At least Peach gave me a free day of music for rolling over my tickets. Lockn returned my money and said quick spend it on 75% less music for the same price. Now I have to think about it! I was leaning towards the goose if only because that sounds like more of a "festival"
I'll prob hold off for sure until a schedule.
I threw up a little in my mouth when I clicked the approve button. Went and brushed my teeth, gargled, sat down at my computer, saw what I spent. and I puked again.
When you see my at any future event Shapiro put's on I'll be sporting a "SHAPPY'S SHEEP" shirtDecide what you want, then bitch about getting it.This is the way.

I barely hesitated, despite the cost, the limited band list, crazy price for camping, august weather, etc. I just really really like JRAD, and I rarely get to see them (northeastern big cities not very attractive to me).
So I'm there. It's gonna be awesome, I'm sure.Looks like we almost got enough for a meetup or something!What else you gonna do all afternoon? Potato sack races?

I'm looking forward to acoustic JRAD at random campsites. Isn't that why camping is so expensive?I'm looking forward to JRAD easing into a deep exploratory Dark Star among other songs. With 3 nights to fill there should be no need to rush anything along or Dark Star > insert dance song > Dark Star

I heard JRAD will play on roller skates and deliver food to campers and give wake up calls as well. Don't forget to tip!I'm looking forward to acoustic JRAD at random campsites. I really hope this one doesn't sell out, so I can decide last minute to go if I change my mind.
I was poking around with the pricing and found an 'interesting' thing.
1 hotel room with 1 king bed for 1 person = $805
The same hotel room with 1 king bed for 2 people = $1230
For a difference of $425
AND
1 hotel room with 2 queens for 1 person = $905
The same hotel room with 2 queens for 2 people = $1430
For a difference of $525
It's mind boggling. I guess they are saying an extra butt in the shuttle is $425? unless there are two beds in the room, then the extra butt in the shuttle is $525?
And those prices don't include festival tickets.
And I just checked the hotels website, the price for the room is the same for 1 or 2 people if you just happen to be staying there unrelated to lockn

I would love to see a large crowd, but with those prices I don't see it happening. Maybe lower the prices and sell more tickets, camping and beer ?

The more first timers that show up and have a good time and see that they aren't being gouged on everything are more likely to tell their friends and come back for more shows. I would think it'll pay off in the long run.

I'm hearing rumours that Metzger will be making scrambled eggs for the campers Saturday and Sunday morning between 9:00 and 10:00. Apparently they're going to let him tap into the power to allow him to use his portable induction stovetop. I'm liking this news
