I have a Tier 1 ticket for sale at cost. $270.70. As much as I will regret missing this fest and all you wonderful sisters and brothers I have decided this is best for me right now. I attended Lockn’ last year with my very good friend that passed away a few weeks back and my grief is just too deep to go it alone. Please message me if interested.

I'm sorry for your loss. Losing a dear friend is never easy. I know it's hard, but try to celebrate that you were able to catch one last amazing festival with them. Focus on the good times, celebrate the life. That being said, you know you wouldn't be alone at Lockn', not really. We're all family when we get through the gates.

I know your having a hard time finding a ride to Va, but in Chuck's honor you should really try and be there.
I am sure that he would rather that you moved on in a positive way and celebrate his life. Celebrate the good times you two shared, and let him know that you were made happy by his presence here on earth in the short time you were together.
He can be happy where he is now by knowing that you are happy.
I lost my best friend years ago. Some asshole murdered him in cold blood. After the funeral we thru a big party in his honor and this made the grieving a lot more bearable because we knew that this made him happy.
We knew in our hearts that this is what he would have wanted us to do.

I agree with all the above, although I recognize that everyone has to grieve in their own way. So sorry for your loss.

We can grieve and feel sad when we think of our loved ones that have passed.
...or we can feel joy and excitement over the good times and memories that we shared with them because I truly believe that it effects both the living and the dead in a good way when we live our lives in the positive.
When you get to Lockn' we can pass around the wine and I guarantee, and know from my own experiences, that you will feel Chuck smiling down at you.
I was fortunate to have met you at Wanee Judie, and you are a wonderful fun loving spirit and I would love to see you again at Lockn' and having a great time in Chucks honor.

Everyone is so kind to boost my spirits…and I feel too, that I should make the journey in celebration of his life, and dance with abandon. It’s a long journey alone. And that is the biggest obstacle. Finding a ride and also someone to share a place for me to camp is really the biggest worry for me. My money is very limited. I will think more about what I should do. I love all of you…even those I have never met. Bill & Jeff, It was groovy meeting both of you at Wanee.

I'm in Pinellas county so Melbourne is pretty far out of the way. If you could make it to Jville I could probably help with a ride. The bus is in need of too much love right now but I am going and have reliable transportation to get there. I'm leaving early Wed. morning so I'd be around JAX about 9:30-10:00AM. Let me know if I can help.

We will be in Lynchburg by 9:00PM Wed. I'm doing a hotel so you would be on your own as far as camping, but there are plenty of kind folk on here that will help you find a fun and safe place to camp. No gas money needed.

We have an extra two-man dome tent, single air mattress and sleeping bag that we can jam in somewhere. They won't let us save you a spot next to us, but we'll help you get it set up when you get there.
Considering your condition, I wish we had a RV or something, but this is what we got.
