I'm sure they were hedging bets on cancelling LFD as that was their "big ticket" artist and an early cancel saved them some bucks. Could be, as well, that LFD's contract had some weather parameters; I've seen them with temperature ranges even, and many worry about wet conditions and electricity more than direct precipitation. Anyway it will be fun for those who are there!
I'm sorry for those who haven't seen LFD yet because they are one of the region's best tribover bands. Or Covbute. Because they aren't really cover or tribute, but probably more along JRAD than DSO.

This is the first time I've seen a band cancel a gig 4 days ahead because of a little rain in the forecast. I don't get it.
We'll stay until Sunday.
Funny, many of these same musicians played a couple of weeks ago in a crazy thunderstorm with lightning popping here and there but The Music Never Stopped!

Friday was really awesome though, hopefully I'll be going back to this festival next year with better weather!
It was great seeing everyone, and special thanks to TOO for letting me take shelter in his RV.
